APEM Charity Donations
APEM has been prospering, thanks to the continued hard work and enthusiasm from all its employees. This is rewarded on an annual basis due to APEM’s profit share scheme. While the Directors find it very important to share the company’s profits in this way, they would also like to share the good fortunes of APEM with others less fortunate than themselves. With this in mind, the Directors have decided to set up a donation scheme whereby APEM contribute an annual sum from APEM’s profits to charity.
Many of APEM’s employees routinely take part in sponsored events to raise money for various charities. Therefore, what has been proposed is that a set amount of money is set aside for this purpose each year to match the amounts raised by any individual – in effect doubling any donation that they have managed to raise!
This year the amount set aside is £10,000 meaning that in combination with employee’s efforts the targeted amount to raise is £20,000. A new sum will be set annually which will hopefully increase each year to reflect not only APEM’s success but also the desire to give something back to society.
