Donna Ridland 5K Big Fun Run

APEM’s Donna Ridland, who is a Marine Invertebrate Taxonomist, based in the Edinburgh office recently took part in the Edinburgh 5k Big Fun Run.

Sponsored and supported by her colleagues Donna raised £50 on behalf of the SSPCA (Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). APEM matched her donation bringing the final total to £100. The money raised is used to help lonely, abused and injured animals across Scotland. The Big Fun Run was held on the 23rdof October in Edinburgh’s world famous Holyrood Park adjacent to Holyrood Castle. Big Fun Runs are 5km untimed runs staged within scenic parks throughout the UK. To learn more about taking part in one of these events please visit www.bigfunrun.com.
