New Mersey Crossing
APEM conducted a five-year baseline survey for an extensive EIA in the Mersey Estuary for a large proposed bridge development between Runcorn and Widnes. The project involved field sampling of estuarine algae, invertebrates and fish within estaurine intertidal and subtidal habitats, water quality sampling throughout the the estuary and mass flux modelling. APEM completed the marine ecology and surface water quality sections of the EIA for the construction and operational phases of the development and provided expert witness representation at public inquiry.
