Merseyside Docks Monitoring
Morpeth, Egerton and South Liverpool Docks are systems of historic importance and high amenity value. APEM routinely monitors these docks against the relevant EC, Environment Agency and World Health Organisation (WHO) data thresholds. Although the area is not designated bathing water it is used by watersports enthusiasts, so careful and regular checking of the microbiology and algology is considered vitally important.
