Water Monitoring & Management

APEM has designed and implemented some of the most successful water quality management projects in the world. Salford Quays and the Manchester Ship Canal (MSC) are internationally recognised as being among the most prestigious restored waterbodies thanks to our use of oxygen injection and aeration schemes. We are proud of our pioneering and persistent approach to medium and long-term water quality solutions. The £4 million scheme to clean the heavily polluted waters of the upper MSC involved an intensive 20-year period of research and continues to inform many other areas of work.
