Mersey Estuary Crossing
We have carried out extensive multi-annual field surveys for both invertebrates and fish within inter-tidal and sub-tidal habitats of the estuary. Invertebrates were collected using core samplers and a hovercraft, while fish were sampled using a beam trawl pulled by a marine RIB. All samples were analysed in APEM BioLabs to species level.
