Gary Ankers - IT Support Officer
My name is Gary Ankers and I am the newly appointed IT Support Officer for APEM based out of the Stockport office. I have been supporting IT systems and networks for over 13 years. I started off with Royal Mail travelling the country as a team leader in the projects team then went into Warrington Borough Council and have also spent a fair few years as an IT Manager at a couple of schools in Warrington.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, cat and motorbike. Several years ago I also taught Karate at a local club and now try (whenever I get time off from family duties) to go to the gym.
I’m currently still finding my feet at APEM, looking round and getting to know the company and its systems, but I am looking forward to the challenges that may present themselves along the way.
