Victoria Levett - Senior Aquatic Scientist

My name is Vicky Levett and I have joined APEM in October as a Senior Aquatic Scientist in the Oxford office.
I had been looking for a fresh challenge and after stalking the APEM website for almost a year the perfect job opportunity came up! What impressed me most of all about APEM was their strong reputation and scientific approach to consultancy. I am very much looking forward to getting stuck into some wetland and river restoration work!
My career began with a BSc in Biology at the University of Bristol, after which I decided to specialise in the aquatic environment. I completed an MSc in Environmental Water Management at Cranfield University, after which I worked temporarily in a water and soil testing laboratory. Since then I have spent three and a half years working as a member of the Environment Team at EnterpriseMouchel, working on a variety of highways projects. My role was varied but largely involved the assessment of environmental impacts, liaison with statutory bodies, project management and the creation of a 60-year management strategy for over 40 balancing ponds.
In my spare time I enjoy my car (a Ford Puma), role-play gaming, reading, walking and bird watching. I have recently taken up football, although with limited success!
