APEM Ltd has a unique position in the field of aquatic environmental consultancy. Since its inception 23 years ago we have grown from a small niche company to a large, dynamic concern with an established reputation for scientific integrity and delivery. We currently employ over 60 scientists across the UK covering a wide range of aquatic disciplines in marine, estuarine and freshwaters with office/laboratories in Manchester, Oxford, Dorset, Edinburgh and Bangor in North Wales.
Our philosophy, to put science first in everything we do, has continued to fuel our expansion as a science based consultancy across diverse markets including the water industry, conventional and renewable power, as well as the public sector.
As an innovative organisation, we are at the forefront of investigating and developing new survey techniques for today’s demanding but cost conscious regulatory environment. Our innovation in remote sensing, from digital aerial bird surveys to high resolution fluvial sediment mapping and three dimensional hydraulic modeling, are testament to our dynamic approach to changing markets and evolving industry sectors.
