About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre and motivated scientist to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated individual to join the Data Operations Team to work as a survey operation coordinator.
Based at APEM’s operational office in Chester you will provide logistical support to the Data Operations Team, assisting in planning activities such as the preparation of survey flight plans and research into airspace, aircraft and logistics as well as reviewing project information and survey plans. You will also help calculate costs for new bids, manage some of the data workflows within the company and work closely with the Data Operations Team manager.

You will have a degree in in Geomatics, Remote Sensing, GIS, Environmental Science, Geography, or other relevant subject and have industry experience. You will have excellent technical ability, and be able to liaise with internal and external clients, as well as external service providers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines.
You will be primarily office-based, although there may be a requirement to visit clients or outsourcing partners, or provide support with surveys if required. As such, a full driving licence and personal flexibility is essential.
